Bible Journaling with Christin | Psalm 73:21-28 & 1 John 4:17

I’m slowly getting back into my normal grove of posting. I have a few blog posts I’m working on but today I want to show you how I used ‘Our Love’ sticker sheets within my bible. I created these stickers with fall in mind and how God loves us. So let’s jump to the verses I journaled.

The first verse I journaled was Psalm 73:21-28 where it speaks about having a bitter heart. That having that bitter heart is no way to live and that we should love ourselves and others. That with love and with God, our spirit will grow strong and our hearts will be with God.

Psalm 73:21-28

Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. I was so foolish and ignorant—I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you. Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. Those who desert him will perish, for you destroy those who abandon you. But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.

The next verse I journaled was 1 John 4:17 were is speaks about when we live in God, our love will grow and that we will not be afraid of whats to come.

1 John 4:17

As we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgement, but we can face God with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
