Bible Journaling 2 Corinthians 5:17 | New Life

I’m so excited to bring you my first blog post on my bible journaling. Some of you may know that I do offer printable bible stickers that you can find at my shop. I’ve also created a blog post on all the supplies I use when I journal in my bible. In the future I do plan to offer printed bible journaling sheets but for now they are all instant downloads that you print at home. You can follow me on my social media platforms to know when I do offer printed sticker sheets or you can sign up for newsletter

In today journaling, I journaled 2 Corinthians 5:17

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.

So what does this mean? What does it mean to belong to Christ and to become a new person? Let’s look more into in 2 Corinthians 5:18-21.

And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sins, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

God is calling us to restore ourselves and to live humbly among each other. He is calling us to believe in Christ and once we do that, we will be given a new life to live not for ourselves but for Christ. God wants us to live through Christ and to be Christ-like with our actions and or words.  In 2 Corinthians 5:11-15 it explains this to us.

God knows we are sincere. We should have a sincere heart when bringing glory to God. Christ’s love has control over us because we believe that he has die for or sins. Christ died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and raised for them.

Ask yourself, what  does it mean to me to live for Christ? For me it’s to spread God’s message through journaling and being creative. It’s to be humble and kind to everyone I come in contact with. I should not judge others and I should allow them to see Christ within me. To shine as brightly as I can in this world we live in.

I hope this helps you get started in journaling God’s word. If you’ve already have started bible journaling, I hope this helps you as well. I did put together a video showing how I journaled 2 Corinthians 5:17 in my bible if you would like to watch it. I hope you all have a blessed day and I can’t wait to bring you more ‘Bible Journaling with Christin’.
