If you’ve been following along, you would know that we’ve on our 5th and 6th page of our Identity in Christ journal. If you haven’t been following along, that’s okay. You can check out my other posts posts here along with the prayer page I did.
Today we will be going our I am blessed and victorious. There’s so many blessings that God has placed in each of our lives. One of the many blessings God has given us is victory over sin and death. Knowing that we are saved through Christ is such a blessing that we all can share with others. It’s a blessing that we can be proud of and to help us stand firm within our identity and faith in Jesus Christ. Let’s get started on our journaling.
The first verse we will look at is Jeremiah 17:7-8. In these two verses it explains that we are blessed and how we are blessed.
Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.
You’re question for this verse is “How does God bless you?” This answer can be as short or as long as you want it to be. Or you can create your very own blessed journal to record how God has blessed you.
The next verse in our journal let’s us know how we or victorious over death and sin and it’s form 1 Corinthians 15:57.
Thanks to be God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
If you read verses 56 to 58, you can understand how we are victorious. It is through Christ that we are victorious. After you’ve wrote this verse down, ask yourself:
1. How are your victorious?
2. How can you be victorious in life?
I’ve also add verse 15:55 in my journal as well.
Death is swallowed up in victory. O’death, where is your victory? O’death, where is your sting?
