Bible Journaling with Christin | Rest in the Lord

For today’s journaling, I will use my Rest in the Lord printable that you can find in my shop. This printable can be used to journal Psalms 46:10, 2 Corinthians 1:4, Psalms 37:7, Matthew 11:28, Mark 6:31, Isaiah 30:15, Psalms 91:1. But it can be used for any bible verse or journaling that relates to spending time with God.

I just love how this printable came out. The detail in the images are what really make the stickers pop. It’s by fave one of my favorite printables that I’ve created. Even though I love everything that I make for myself and my shop, this printable is at the top of my list. Let’s get started on the verses I journaled using my Rest in the Lord printable.

The first verse I journaled was Isaiah 30:15b. God says that when we return to Him, we will find rest. In our quiet time with God, we are able to find our confidence in God and our strength.

Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength.

The next vest I journaled was Psalm 46:10. When we are still, that’s when we will know who God is. It’s a time when you can talk to God and to listen to what he has to tell us.

Be still and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.

Then I added a sticker in my mini bible for Matthew 11:28-30. This is one of my favorite verses (even though I have many). In this verse, Jesus is inviting us to go to him and to give him our burdens and worries to find rest within him. When we have that rest within Jesus, we can have peace in our lives.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.
